PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

  • To create awareness about latest trends in the field of photovoltaic devices among the faculty members of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering branches.

  • To create resources for contribution in the enhancement of solar energy applications.

  • To initiate inter-college project activities based upon solar energy to contribute for green energy applications in the society.

Dr. Sandeep Pathak Recieved his PhD from the University Of Cambridge, U.K. in 2011, working in the group of Prof David Cardwell. He spent two years at the Clarendon Laboratory (University of Oxford, U.K.) with Prof. Henry Snaith as a postdoctoral fellow working on Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells and Perovskite Solar cell. He then joined Prof Ullrich Steiner at Cavendish Laboratory (University of Cambridge, UK) and continued to work on Perovskite based Optoelectronic devices. In October 2013, he again moved back to Oxford University (UK) to work with Prof. Henry Snaith. Subsequently, he went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) to work with Prof. Vladimir Bulovic. Since Feb. 2016 he has been part of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as an Assistant Professor.

 

PARTICIPATION

The program is open to faculty members of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Humanities streams from AICTE approved technical institutions and Universities.
