Engineering education is going through a transformation phase with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI), making inroads in all aspects of the teaching learning process and the Industrial applications. This has been recognized by the
SDIET team which is making all the efforts required to make the students trained for the changing requirements for better employment opportunities.
The educational requirements of the students are covered in all aspects to include the curriculum for different courses under offer and the extra-curriculum activities to help the students develop organizational skills and team
work. The faculty and staff members in SDIET are all committed to help the students further their academic capabilities as well to create an ambience for a holistic development as well-groomed individuals for participating in the individual growth as well as contributing to the nation building.
The institute is fully aware of the challenges faced by the students, who get a well organized skill set development while being the part of SDIET, after the completion of the course. Hence, a strong emphasis has been placed on
providing proper exposure to the practical aspects in the course with an emphasis on industrial relevance. The visit to industrial establishments and the seminars by Industry peers have been incorporated as key components of the
curriculum. The acceptance by the industry of SDIET students is a testimony to the fruitfulness of these efforts by the SDIET team. Of course, there are many challenges that will be emerging in future which will be suitably addressed by SDIET faculty members.
We all are taking this opportunity to help in furthering the existing educational ambience for the students, which makes them the contributors in different ways for the individual growth as well as to bring glory to the institute by their illustrious contributions. The faculty members are key to the success of the educational programmes and the existing efforts for the individual growth will be fully supported.
