SDIET Research Promotion Policy
Purpose
The purpose of Research Promotion Policy is to create a vibrant atmosphere of research among faculty and researchers at Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology (SDIET), Faridabad. The policy shall serve as an overall framework within which is to promote quality research and promote innovation.
Scope
All faculty members, technical staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the institute.
Key Objectives
- Create an enabling environment to foster research culture
- Strengthen institutional capability for research activities
- Ensure publications in quality journals (Scopus/SSCI/SCI/Web of Science/ABDC)
- Undertake consultancy projects from Government, private, and Industrial organizations
- Nurture socially useful research with mass usefulness
- Carry out research in areas of respective doctorate/interest

- Eligibility: 3 or more SCI/SCOPUS papers with SDIET affiliation

- At least one research paper in SCI/Scopus/ABDC indexed journal
- Publication/presentation of at least one paper in international/national conference
- At least one patent/copyright/technology transfer/product development
- At least one newspaper/magazine article
- At least one external interaction (speaker/guest lecture/session chair)
Important Guidelines
- Publish only in reputed and indexed journals
- Avoid paid journals
- Self-declaration required for copyright/plagiarism
- Online publication date will be considered
- Proof of journal indexing must be submitted
- Final decision rests with SDIET-RDAC
